2007-08-08 02:28:15   The veggie stromboli is my favorite! I'm not against eating meat, but if you are then be sure to request the meatless marinara. Big-ass $2 slices of cheese pizza, most of the time with a nice thin crust. The food is always a good deal here......the drinks are a rip though. $3 for a 2-liter!!! —RobertDeYager

2007-10-08 21:12:52   I've tried about 8 different stromboli's here and my favorite by far is the meatball stromboli. I'm a nut about finding the ultimate meatball sub (I'm still looking) — the meatball stromboli here may just end that hunt. When they had the other locations their delivery range was crazy-far. Don't know about now though. This place definitely ranks in my Rochester top five for takeout/delivery. —KevinKondo

2008-05-06 15:49:12   The dirtiest place around with the rudest employees.

But the Boli's are delicious. Great food. —MrRochester

2008-07-10 12:27:03   Their breakfast boli beats the egg mcmuffin, hands down —MrPhil

2009-09-14 15:05:11   Absolutely insanely rude employees. Very filthy inside. If you order, be very polite on the phone. I have never had a friendly interaction. They are short and rude on the phone. I usually order the same things and you quickly can tell when they don't like you i.e.- the total changes from day to day, quadruple pepperoni quickly becomes double, you get the idea. The pedestrian slices sit out all day and have flies hovering over them. The never have a fresh pie. The sub rolls are often stale. But they do have a few menu items that are worth the trouble. The guy that used to deliver and I think run the east ave store would be embarrased to see how rude the current face of Stromboli express is. —sirpaul

2009-11-25 20:26:16   I used to order regularly from them. Yes, as others have mentioned, the employees are extremely rude, to the point that you might worry that they are screwing with your food. I have never complained or given anybody there a hard time, so I see no reason they should treat customers like they do.

Worse yet, though, the last three times I called, nobody picked up the phone. I am calling during normal business hours, when I know they are open, and the phone just rings and rings. At first, thinking that they were just busy, I waited a half hour and tried again. No one picked up. Since then, I've tried to order at least two other times and nobody has picked up. I've given up on this place and have actively recommended that others stay away from it thanks to the unnecessarily awful service. —VincentP

2011-03-25 20:02:28   love the buffalo chicken pizza! also..they have great burgers. convenient to Eastman shows..love to go early and grab a quick delicious dinner. —johhnywinter

2011-03-28 20:49:00   I was running late for an appointment downtown and I needed to stop for lunch. I was pleasently surprised that I was able to purchase a big slice of pizza and a soda for less than $4. I will have to stop in again sometime when I have more time so I can try the rest of the menu —Dick

2013-08-09 18:03:00   The service and quality is sometimey. Sometimes it's good sometimes it's not so good. Today I received a delivery after 2 hours, it was the wrong order and the onion rings were burned. I won't be ordering from there again. —LisaSmith22

2014-06-23 08:56:23   The place is not much to look at, and maybe they could brush up on their "people skills" a bit, but the sausage 'boli last evening was delicious. Well stuffed, nicely cooked and with a tasty warm red sauce on the side for dipping. Munching on it while sitting at their table along the sidewalk watching the Jazz Fest crowd was a delight. —jgerek
