2006-02-15 19:08:23   I think their food is really good but it wasnt spicy enough for me till recently. I suspect there's a new chef and I like it! Definitely check it out. Nice intimate atmosphere and good service. —OneLove

2006-08-05 12:22:30   I think this is the best Thai food in town. Better than any in NYC as well. —MarcVera

2006-08-16 14:31:01   Hands down my favorite thai restaurant. They're pud thai is amazing, and I love the nice, calm atmosphere of the restaurant. —FrancesCabrera

2007-04-13 09:10:11   I only went once several years ago and had an awful experience. My food was greasy, service was slow (even though we were one of 2-3 tables in there, and my friend's Thai Iced Tea was made with spoiled condensed milk. Considering the stuff has a shelf life of several years, this alarmed me to say the least. There are a plethora of good Thai options (or restaurants that serve Thai dishes) and I just can't bring myself to try this place again. I do hope, for everyone's sake, that it has improved considerably since I've been. —RochesterGuy

2007-08-16 14:17:06   Lunch is so cheap and portions are big. Food is always good. Nothing flashy, but a sure thing for inexpensive yummy food. Love this place...plus that awesome ice cream parlor is next door for dessert! —KatrinaFromRochester

2007-09-18 22:51:25   Easily the best Thai Food in town!: Not just food, this really is Thai Cuisine! Every bite is full of several flavors, so each dish keeps your interest until the end. Consistently fresh and excellent quality.

The staff is always courteous and prompt. If you are unfamiliar with a dish, you can ask and they will help you find something that you will like.

Don't be fooled by the lack of ambiance; what this restaurant lacks in decor, they make up for in service and taste! —MichaelAvery

2007-09-21 16:20:07   I'm amazed to see how many comments this place has! I went there a Thursday night with a few friends and, at 8pm, we were the only table. I actually wondered how could they stay in business. Anyway, I'm happy to see they have other customers.

As Michael said, the ambiance is plain and bland but the food is very good. I've never been in Thailand myself, so I cannot judge how this compares to real Thai food, but having read a couple of books, it appears to be quite authentic. —AndreaCogliati

2007-09-23 07:41:54   We came here Friday night and had a delicious dinner. The Thai Taste beef is a good starting point for unfamiliar diners, and the Spicy Chicken was very good, with some nice zip. The flavors here are different than at The King And I, not as sweet, which I like. I wish they'd update the interior as that's one thing I'm not crazy about, but the food more than compensates. The servers are very nice, and the sticky rice is delicious! —KatieSchmitz
