The Barber Shop is located across from the Hess station on Monroe Avenue near I-490, this local barber shop is the real deal— just the place to get your hair cut. Unisex but the clientèle is mainly male, kids too. The owner's name is Diane, stop in and say hello she will give you a great cut. Appointments preferred but walk-ins accepted as the schedule permits.

2009-08-22 07:55:45 I had a horrid experience here. Diane was more concerned with getting me in and out of the chair in under 15 minutes than she was interested in listening to how I wanted my hair done. She lunged in and started hacking away before I had a chance to think about what she said she was going to do and then she got all pissy when I freaked out about how much she'd cut off, saying "that's what I wanted." No sir. I'm going back to the Southwedge Barber Shop. —JonSchnapp
