Towpath Cafe: Coffee and Wine (formerly Fairport Village Coffee) is owned by new entrepreneur and former employee Neil Clark. The renovated facility is a very modern and clean cafe located in the Box Factory Building along the Erie Canal in Fairport (formerly in the Fairport Village Landing).
New outside patio seating as of September 2009.
The cafe features live music on weekends (and some weeknights) -check out City Newspaper Venues Listing for info.
Enter from the large parking lot side, past the Lickety Splits ice cream shop and down the interior hallway (public rest rooms along the way).
Listed as Free Wi-Fi Spot.
Per the Fairport-Perinton Merchants Association: "Towpath Cafe Coffee and Wine located on the historic Erie Canal offers specialty coffees, pastries, deserts, wraps, paninis and soups. Also featuring wine and beer with music every weekend."
