2012-10-12 12:48:27 D. I really want to rate this restaurant better than a D but I can't. The people who work there are super super nice but they don't seem to know what they are doing. First off the place looks like one tenant moved out and they moved right in. Dirty, no decor... Blaring light bulbs over the bar that are blinding. We sat down and waited and waited for menus. Menus came, we ordered and waited and waited and waited for our salad. Salad came, my husband had no silverware server never came back so he got up and go some off another table. Salad was fresh but but it was only spring mix with three grape tomatoes. Friend ordered fried chick it appeared drenched in grease, husband got fried catfish, it looked frozen and hush puppies were dry. I ordered very greasy catfish and did not want the rice and potato that came with it, rice and potatoes, yes, two starches. I asked for steamed veggies instead. I got a TINY portion of broccoli. Went up to the bar after for drinks but that went badly too. The "bartender" clearly had never been behind a bar before. It was painful to watch. I hope they can get it together because they were extremely nice people. —NewtonNola
