The Westside Neighbors - formerly know as the United Neighbors Together (U.N.I.T.) - is a neighborhood in the City of Rochester. It is located to the north of the 19th Ward and south of Lyell-Otis. Although considered part of Sector 4, it is also said to be in the Northwest Quadrant rather than the Southwest.

Lyell Avenue itself forms a busy commercial border between Westside and Lyell-Otis.

The neighborhood was founded in the 1800s as businesses built up along the Erie Canal. Additional homes were adding during the post-World War II housing boom. Today, the neighborhood is a mix of light industry and quiet residential streets. [WWW]Theodore Roosevelt School No. 43 is a point of pride as a magnet school for arts and music. The neighborhood association has been active for over thirty years.
