Unity Health System is the umbrella that owns: St. Mary's Hospital, on Genesee Street on the west side of Rochester, Unity Hospital (formerly known as Park Ridge Hospital) in Greece, ACM Lab, medical facilities on Long Pond Road and many other smaller facilities.
St. Mary's Hospital no longer accepts emergency patients or surgeries and routes these patients to Unity Hospital. Currently St. Mary's caters to brain injury rehabilitation, elderly care, behavioral health, eating disorders and walk-in care.
As of 2006, Unity Health System is the seventh-largest employer in the Greater Rochester area.
