The Art and Art History Undergraduate Council (AAHUC) is a student group at the University of Rochester. AAHUC aims to make students more aware of the Art and Art History Department on campus, extend the dialogue about Art and Art History outside of the classroom, and connect students majoring or minoring in Art and Art History with other Art and Art History majors/minors. Their aim is to foster creativity on campus and promote the importance and worth of art both on campus and in the Rochester community.

They routinely help organize and sponsor both on- and off-campus art-related activities, including 2008's first annual Art Awake. Future plans include helping to paint a new dance studio in the Brooks Landing area of the 19th Ward and trying to create an art gallery in the same area. AAHUC takes trips to galleries and museums in and around Rochester, as well as to nearby cities including Syracuse, Buffalo, and [ithaca]Ithaca. In the spring, AAHUC travels to New York City to immerse students interested in art in the rich creative and cultural environment New York City has to offer.

AAHUC meets biweekly in Sage Art Center. The meetings are informal gatherings of undergraduates studying art or art history, as well as anyone who loves and is interested in art.
