Born at Strong Memorial Hospital, I've been a lifelong resident of the area. I graduated from Webster Schroeder High School and received my B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Rochester in 2007. I'm planning a career in public service so I can give back to the city I call home (and hopefully show a few people along the way that Rochester is actually, on the whole, a pretty great place to live).
I'm currently one of three recent graduates participating in the pilot
Youth Year Fellowship program sponsored by area colleges. As a part of this fellowship, I work for the Rochester Bureau of Recreation and Youth Services Program Office, helping out with great projects like Youth Voice One Vision. I also work at Wegmans on the side, currently in the Bakery department.
When I'm not working (and this is rare), I can generally be found bowling or watching Lost.
