WXXI Public Broadcasting Council
WXXI-TV, WXXI (AM), WXXI-FM
WXXI is Rochester's Public Broadcasting System (PBS) television and NPR radio station(s), serving the community since 1958. Their studios are located in the High Falls District. In 2012 they become the parent organization for the Little Theatre.
When WXXI-TV made the digital transition in 2009 they temporarily lost over-the-air signal in Webster and possibly other areas. In late 2013, after years of issues, a new transmission antenna and boosted power has seemingly resolved this issue. 1
