| North from the Livingston County line to an intersection with I-390 at East River Road, becoming Mt. Hope Avenue |
West Henrietta Road begins in Monroe County just south the town of Rush. It continues North through the towns of Henrietta and Brighton to the city line where it changes its name to Mt. Hope Avenue. Most of West Henrietta Road in Rush is farm land but moving north brings more and more commercial buildings. Once north of the Thruway in Henrietta it becomes nothing but businesses (including a significant number of auto dealerships), malls and then a few houses before reaching Route 390 and the city line.
Traffic in the Marketplace Mall area can be very heavy, especially in the holiday season. The section of road that passes through Henrietta and Brighton — particularly between Jefferson Road and Crittenden Boulevard — is designed to discourage pedestrians and bicyclists.
