May 31	Rochester Knighthawks win their third consecutive NLL title.
June 6	Buckingham Properties announces purchase of former Bausch and Lomb Headquarters, along with Flaum and Morgan.
August 23	Rochester Rattlers lost the MLL Championship game 11-12.
September 3	Daryl Pierson becomes the first police officer killed in Rochester in the line of duty since 1959.
September 5	Larry and Jane Glazer killed in airplane crash en route to Naples, FL.
October 17	College Town dedicated.
October 28	Ground breaking ceremony was held for the new Amtrak Station.
November 14	Buckingham Properties announces the new name of the former Bausch and Lomb Headquarters to Legacy Tower in honor of the history of the previous company and Larry and Jane Glazer.
November 28	RTS Transit Center opens.
