Auer Hotel, an historic landmark, was located on Ridge Road between Clinton Avenue and Joseph Avenue in Irondequoit. Sebastian Auer built the hotel in 1886.1. It was demolished in 1955 to make room for Ridge-Seneca Plaza, a strip mall.
