We walked in and my husband and I ordered bagels, daughter a sesame asian salad. "Amanda" actually rolled her eyes and said reluctantly "....okay...." like it was a huge bother to prepare a salad. Well, we got to the table and daughter states salad is wrong, Amanda made a caesar. Great. My husband goes back up to the counter and orders (did not ask for a replacement or mention the error) the asian sesame salad. "Amanda" gives a big sigh and says "Won't that be fun." My husband retorted "Then why don't you take it off the menu, if it's such a bother? You made the first one wrong, I'm willingly paying for a second, why don't you just make it without complaint?!" Amanda disappeared to the back room with a very large drink. She actually sipped it and chatted with the guy in back while customers piled up at the counter. Every table was filthy and there was trash overflowing. Perhaps if Amanda did her job and had a smidge of a work ethic, the PenFair Bruegger's would be more pleasant and clean.
