Everybody knows that they make cheap plonk for wine, but at least back when Walter was alive and running the place, he made the visit fun. Have some of the crappy wine with some barbecue, and it was almost palatable. In more recent times, though, they've resorted to having 'tasting cheerleaders' who try to convince you that the cheap crap they are serving you is actually decent, and that 'wine snobs' don't understand the beauty of the plonk they make. It's amusing, seeing how much lipstick they can put on the pig, but in the end, most people cant tell that Billy Goat Red is really nothing more than a $4 bottle of wine. + + At the restaurant, however, they're trying to go 'upscale', and boy, are they missing the mark! They have a restaurant which has a strange menu featuring your basic 'diner fare', then, for dinner, they add 4 or 5 dinner entrees at full price. The entrees are well made, a bit pricey, though, but the service makes up for it. Unfortunately, the bistro-style metal round tables and uncomfortable chairs don't. And, probably the single biggest minus is that they only serve Bully Hill wines. + --["Users/Alex-C"]
