The calamari was the best I have ever had -- so tender and flavorful. I tasted the linguini with white clam sauce and one other dish -- these little purses of porky goodness -- The wine was Two Tone Cabernet. I had never had it and wasn't familiar with the winery. It was smooth and lovely. The desert was ok -- we had the berry tart. I would probably have a second appetizer and skip the dessert. This place beats that hands down. The menu appears to be more northern Italian fare. My wife had the Chicken Artichoke and I had shrimp wrapped in chicken in a white wine sauce (I forget the name) they were both excellent and very rich. I agree with Danette about the coffee, the best I ever had at a restaurant. The service was also very good. I stopped in for lunch and had spinach egg drop soup and a roast beef panini. The soup was outstanding and the panini bread was so herby and delicious and grilled to the right crispness. I enjoyed it so much i had dinner there the next night and was equally impressed. I had a tortellini-type pasta in a fantastic vodka sauce. Both times the service was great and the owner is just so sweet i want to go there just to keep her in business! The only major downfall i see is perhaps the atmosphere.
