Gone, but Not Forgotten - High Fidelity closed
Comedy Block Party was downtown's only stand-up comedy show. It took place every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at High Fidelity in the East End.
The Comedy Block Party showcases a mix of new talent from the area and touring comedians from Western New York and New York City. Some past performers include Rochester native Marianne Sierk who recently appeared on the ABC series Comics Unleashed, Lisa Landry who’s half-hour Comedy Central Presents is airing this season, and Moody McCarthy from NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Producers Mark Jabo & Matt Rohr satisfy a need for a comedy venue in town where audiences can see talented upcoming performers with a relaxed format and social atmosphere.
