The omlettes were decent-sized, the coffee was passable, and they actually had some strawberry jam packets on the tables (I always HATE when diners only offer apple and grape), and they don't seem to water down their ketchup (another sore spot I have with Greek diners), so in the 'diner continuum', I'd have to say they are better than average. + + The owner, I'm told, used to work at the old Duchess Restaurant, and the food is remarkably similar. Penfield seems to be lacking in decent places for breakfast, so I'm sure that Georges will fill that market quite well. The restaurant used to be a 'Chinese' restaurant, but they've done a pretty decent job of altering it. It's still mostly a big open space, so perhaps they'll put in some more booths, and maybe a few dividers to cut down on the noise that another person mentioned. I just hope they don't end up getting flooded-out next time Irondequoit Creek floods, as I've seen happen about once every 5-6 years down at the plaza. --["Users/Alex-C"]
