The food was true Italian. The waitress was incredible. The prices were great. We had Giuseppe's Fries for an appetizer (fries with hot sauce, steak, and cheese) which were excellent, Chicken Parm and Chicken Salvatore as our entrees, (Both were huge AND under $15), and chocolate cake and a cannoli for dessert. It was all delicious! The waitress paced out the food so that we were not waiting, yet did not feel rushed. The only draw back is that it is small, so if you don't go early you may have to wait a few minutes. --["Users/colleenraimond"]

https://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27shttps://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27s?action=diff&version1=20&version2=21&ts=1262869476Giuseppe's2010-01-07T13:04:36ZDavidPausch
Differences for Giuseppe's

 Deletions are marked with - One, there was no AC. Despite ninety degree temperatures outside, the door to the restaurant was wide open--but neither was there a screen door. The second red flag was the filthy,ratty, grey, industrial carpet in the dining room. I took some comfort in the fact that there was an attached bakery and in the fact that the sign on the window said "Since 1927." In the dining area there was no decor to speak of, just a few tacky photos of toddlers dressed like adults. Seated at a table by the wall, we were able to see just how grimy they were. In fact most everything was filthy. Looking up we could see a coating of greasy dust covering the entire surface of our anemically wiggling ceiling fans. We ordered pizza for the kids. I ordered chicken wings, and my fiance ordered lasagna.
+
+ While we waited, we each drank a glass of the house red, ostensibly some kind of chianti. I say ostensibly because I noticed that what we were served was slightly carbonated which means that yeast was still working on it in some kind of sealed container. While we waited, a band of very persistent houseflies began snacking on the sweat on my legs. About every twenty or thirty seconds or so I stifled a swear and swiped at them, spilling my wine more than once (thank you no screen door--at least I hoped that they had come in from outside). Chirpy and friendly, the waitress apparently did not see my frustration.
+
+ The food arrived after about twenty five minutes. My kids' pizza looked remarkably like a high school cafeteria product; sadly it tasted much the same way. Imagine unseasoned tomato sauce straight from the can with cheap skim mozzarella piled on top of bread dough sloppily rolled flat. Luckily my kids are too young to know bad pizza, still they can usually manage two slices each when they are hungry; both stopped at one this time. My wings were average and overcooked. My fiance thought his lasagna was mediocre. Despite my nausea from the flies crawling on my legs I ate a few wings.
+
+ Overall I'd rate the food a "D" and the restaurant an "F" primarily for cleanliness and general slovenliness. I suppose that I'm happy that I don't know what the kitchen looked like.
+
+ Although the menu is inexpensive, don't be seduced by your frugality--there are plenty of reasons to stay well away from this hole, not the least of which is nausea and potential food poisoning. --["Users/ZeldaPinwheel"]

https://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27shttps://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27s?action=recall&version=13&ts=1216642443Giuseppe's2008-07-21T12:14:03ZRachelBlumenthalMap location(s) modifiedhttps://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27shttps://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27s?action=diff&version1=11&version2=12&ts=1216638765Giuseppe's2008-07-21T11:12:45ZSerafinaChinappiPage deleted (We at Giuseppe's prefer to have our listing taken down.)
Differences for Giuseppe's

 Deletions are marked with - .

 Additions are marked with +.

Line 1:

Line 1:

- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Location||
- ||Address("40 Spencerport Rd, Rochester NY, 14606") ||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Hours (as of May 2007)||
- ||Monday - Thursday: 9:00am-9:00pm||
- ||Friday / Saturday: 9:00am-10:00pm||
- ||Sunday: 8:00am-9:00pm||
- ||Dining room opens: Monday-Saturday: 11:00am||
- ||Sunday: 4:00pm||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Phone||
- ||585 426-3397||
- ||585 429-6540||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Accessible||
- ||Yes||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Alcohol||
- ||Yes (Beer/Wine)||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Website||
- ||http://www.GiuseppesRochester.com||
- ||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Email||
- ||MailTo(giuseppes.restaurant AT gmail DOT com)||
- ##||<bgcolor='#E0E0FF'>Reviews||
- ##||Year-Month-Day Media Name review||
-
- Giuseppe's is an ["Italian Food" Italian] ["Restaurants" restaurant] in ["Gates"].
-
- Comments
- ------
- 2008-07-14 22:20:51 nbsp Had we not arrived at Giuseppie's with two hungry preschool children in tow, I would have turned around at the door. In the dining area there was no decor to speak of, just a few tacky photos of toddlers dressed like adults.
-
- While we waited, we each drank a glass of the house red, ostensibly some kind of chianti.
-
- The food arrived after about twenty five minutes.
-
- Overall I'd rate the food a "D" and the restaurant an "F" primarily for cleanliness and general slovenliness. I suppose that I'm happy that I don't know what the kitchen looked like.
-
- Although the menu is inexpensive, don't be seduced by your frugality--there are plenty of reasons to stay well away from this hole, not the least of which is nausea and potential food poisoning. --["Users/ZeldaPinwheel"]

+ deleted

https://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27shttps://rocwiki.org/Giuseppe%27s?action=diff&version1=10&version2=11&ts=1216606344Giuseppe's2008-07-21T02:12:24ZRachelBlumenthalRevert to version 9 (Sorry, you can't delete other uesrs' comments.
