Gold Street Lofts on Mt. Hope is a planned off-campus student housing complex in the Lilac Neighborhood, within walking distance of College Town. The design calls for a five-story, 32-apartment building and a four-story, eight-apartment building between the Distillery and the Elmwood Inn. To make way for the development, houses and vacant retail spaces (formerly Empire Comics and Salmon Florist) on Mt. Hope, Gold Street, and Langslow Street will be demolished. CJS Architects are the architects of the project.
