One of the world's most recognizable and highly regarded brands in men's tailored clothing, Hickey-Freeman was founded in Rochester in 1899, and is still headquartered here. In 1964, the company was bought by clothing manufacturer Hart, Schaffner & Marx.
All Hickey-Freeman mainline suits are made in the factory on N. Clinton Ave. The factory also produces suits sold under the Burberry label.
The company produces two diffusion lines: Bobby Jones, a sportswear line, and Hickey, a line aimed at younger consumers.

2008-07-02 14:52:30 Amazing suits, and very affordable at the factory store on N Clinton. I just picked up a tuxedo for $399 there, originally $1,200. Rochester is very lucky to have Hickey Freeman in town. On par with any suit from Canali and almost as tailored at Brioni. —MrRochester
