Hinchey Historical House & Park is operated by the Town of Gates Parks Department that preserves 3.1 acres and the only structure in the town listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Italianate style home was built by Franklin Hinchey in the 1870's and now serves as the Historical Society's headquarters.
