Jine's Restaurant is a longstanding diner on Park Avenue. You can sit outside on the sidewalk in the summer. They also offer brunch. Catering available.

Jine's is located at the intersection of Park Ave and Berkeley Street. They opened in 1971.

2009-05-01 15:15:04   Jine's is always a good bet. Excellent service — often by the Gine's family themselves and really great food. I think the differentiation between diner and not is trivial. —DavidEisenman

2010-03-01 07:32:12   First off, love the place. But I think it should be mentioned that they are very accommodating to various diets and preferences, as I'm sure you'd expect from a long-time Park Ave restaurant. Many of the items are vegetarian and vegan (and are marked), though done so in a very creative way. We're not just talking grilled cheese; we're talking about vegetarian chili, broccoli and tofu burgers, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're taking out a mixed group of people, this is a great place that everyone can settle on. —DaveMilitello

2010-04-07 09:35:32   Went here for the first time on a Friday night and was not impressed. My wife's fish-fry was indeed excellent, with a super crispy, ungreasy beer batter and tender, moist halibut, but my dish, a pasta special with scallops and kalamata olives, was practically inedible. The sauce tasted like olive juice dumped into an enormous bowl of overcooked ziti. The scallops were fine, but overpowered by the vinegary concoction. The prices I thought were a bit high. Perhaps if I had ordered something else on the menu I would not have been so disappointed (like I said they did a good job with their fish fry), but based on my one experience, I think this place may be over-hyped. —ErikReinert

2010-06-19 21:04:58   "Sooner or later everyone dines at Jines." Because it's an average, mediocre diner. No complaints though. Just a little overcrowded because it's on Park avenue and that makes it special, apparently. —dsapplegate

2011-03-26 10:04:21   $25 for a mediocre breakfast. This place used to be better. —Heidi

2011-06-03 11:25:22   This place is average. Go there if you want something quick with a large party, but avoid it if you're in the mood for real food. —JenniferMason

2011-06-11 13:36:13   Love it here great service and delicious food (especially the cheddar broccoli potato skins) but the breakfast is a bit pricey. —heathersmith

2012-12-17 13:40:20   My boyfriend and I love going here for breakfast. The hash benedict is probably my favorite. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but it is totally worth it! —CMonkey63
