Last night we sat 1/2 hour before being asked for a drink order. I ordered from the menu "Thin whole wheat spaghetti" with butternut squash sauce. Nearly one hour later I was served gummy whole wheat Penne pasta. Not the same thing! And if you go bring ear plugs. It's like sitting in a ceramic vase. You can hear everyone's conversation who's trying to yell above the noise, except whoever is sitting across from you. One more thing, the house Chianti is flavorless and watery. At 4:00 in the afternoon, they're still serving a brunch (some of it stale), besides who want's breakfast at 4:00 in the afternoon. Not much in choices if you're not there for the bacon, omelets or stale french toast. There was prime rib sliced exceedingly thin (which did taste good) and the pasta was good. There was a salad bowl to dig out of. No seafood, no dessert, unless you think fruit dipped in a chocolate fountain is dessert. No soft drinks were charged for. I was extremely unhappy and upset and felt very bad for bringing my mother there--I can assure you there will not be a return trip. $26.!!!! --["Users/DeborahWatters"]

(Not a bad idea to make a reservation.) The lentil soup and all soups of the day tried were wonderful starters after coming in from the snow and cold outside. Although their menu noted a choice of pasta or potato with all entrees, in addition to that, soup or salad was also included, all with generous portions. We enjoyed what we ordered so much that we kept offering tastes to each other and so far I've tasted the Chicken Milanese, Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi, Veal Saltimbocca, and a couple of specials of the evening - one was a nice salmon, the other a tasty tortellini dish with pork and mushrooms. They always have a risotto of the day which I hope to try on a future visit. The wine list is not extensive, and doesn't show vintage years, but they have enough varietals to choose from by the glass or bottle with which to enjoy your meal. Was told that their cannoli cake is the most popular dessert (among half a dozen or so choices every evening) and three of us split one as we were quite full but it was worth trying. The entire staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in and as we left I was already thinking about coming back soon. The restaurant address is Penfield Rd but if coming from east to west, it's best to turn left onto Five Mile Line Rd and take the first right onto Motts Lane to enter the restaurant parking lot which is behind the restaurant in between Penfield Rd (441) and Motts Lane. --["Users/KairakuShugisha"]

	+ ------ + ''2010-09-22 22:04:30'' [[nbsp]] Had a fantastic dinner at Joey's a few weekends ago - DELICIOUS food! My husband ordered the Chicken Milanese and I ordered the clam chowder and gnocchi. The clam chowder was thick and had so many clams in it - one of the best chowders I've ever had (it's not the typical cream-filled soup - this had a nice Italian twist to it). Gnocchi was beautifully cooked and their marinara sauce is simply fantastic. The chicken milanese was perfectly cooked and crisp and the lemon vinaigrette complimented the arugula and chicken wonderfully. As we were eating, a waitress walked by with the dessert tray and we heard her say "Cannoli Cake." Needless to say... we had to try it... and it was AMAZING. Such a great dinner - we will certainly be back and have been telling our friends to check this place out! Our only complaint is that our main waitress was a little slow, but all the other servers (water and bread) were extremely prompt and attentive - our bread basket and water glasses were never empty. --["Users/Acarp"]
