2010-08-01 23:35:01   We ordered a cake for a birthday party from this Bakery. First of all, the Baker was VERY rude to me. When I went to pick up the cake, she did not provide a box for the cake and suggested that I put it in the trunk of my car. She did not care that she was UNABLE to provide my cake with a box... she had at least 2 weeks notice that I needed a large cake. The least she could have done was notify me that I needed a box for the cake. After we got the cake home, we noticed that there were brown dots on the cake (I'm assuming from other cakes or food from the Bakery). I was VERY upset with this cake and would not recommend this Bakery to anyone else. —MeganSmith

2010-08-05 14:46:07   I have ordered several cakes from Katherine's. The cakes have all been the best I have ever tasted. The staff is professional and polite. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a special occasion or wedding cake. —saratineke

2010-08-05 17:57:53   Hello Megan, I was unaware that you were unhappy with the cake you received. If you would be so kind to give me a call at 585-381-4066 or e-mail me at info@katherinesgourmetcreations.com as I cannot find any record of an order under your name. I would like to rectify this matter as soon as possible. Thank you. -Katherine- —katherine'sgourmetcreations

2010-11-19 12:27:36   if you want time to eat your lunch..dont go to katherines! we have gone there for lunch several times, service is slow. we thought maybe they are just having a busy day as it seemed so crazy in there and took a while to get our lunch. we decided to give it another try by calling ahead this time to ensure we wouldnt spend half our lunch break waiting for sandwiches.we still had to wait 18 mins. to get our food!! also the "sticky buns" were as hard , if you want to have time to eat your lunch, dont go here. —mr.jacb

2011-03-23 10:35:40   They used to be in Bushnell's Basin but moved to the Spring House on Monroe Avenue. Fabulous home breads, cakes, cookies and loads more. There is a restaurant and bar upstairs too. —saratineke
