However, I have a different opinion. This is not an upscale place. I have had burgers and the fish fry here, which were both ok. Everything else I have ever ordered off the menu has been unremarkable and underwhelming. I've had pasta dishes with separated cream sauces. Last night I was dining with my family who insist on eating here. I ordered a haddock special served with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. It was swimming in a pool of watered-down butter. The sun-dried tomatoes tasted like they had been soaked in dirty dishwater and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. Fortunately they had some decent Custom Brewcrafter's beer on draft. I won't be putting myself through that again. They have one of the best Chicken French around, and that is saying something in Rochester. I know a guy who was a chef there about 5 years ago and from our conversations about what goes on there behind closed doors, I totally trust the kitchen.
