2008-11-24 17:00:06   A nice place to go on a date or to meet up with friends. There's a variety of large and small tables, and they have an excellent selection of drinks and baked goods. The place is packed whenever there's a band playing there. —AlexanderGartley

2012-06-23 20:00:45   As a doctoral student I am often in need of a quiet place to study without distractions. I have been frequenting Leaf and Bean because I can bike there from my house, and because they have good food and coffee. I appreciate the fact that even though I order something every time I go in, I usually sit there and work for hours at a time without any question from the staff. They don't EVER make me feel like I should be buying more if I'm going to sit there like other coffee places do. Free wi-fi is pretty common now but an added bonus. The only downside is that there are only three outlets available for customers, so if I need to plug my computer in I am out of luck. It's really nbd though, and I am thankful to have a gem like this in my neighborhood. Outdoor seating is available too, which is awesome in the summer. On Saturdays the farmer's market is right outside their door and we often bike up, shop for veggies, and sit outside to enjoy a coffee. —shawnalusk
