2011-01-31 09:51:13 After losing two in the last couple years, we were happy to see Mexican opened in the underserved west-side. Arriving for a late dinner, the restaurant was busy. We were seated immediately and quickly served complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the shrimp soup and mixed fajitas for two. Both were delicious but we might need to visit a few more times before making a final decision on the food. Throughout the meal, service was friendly and attentive. We certainly look forward to returning. —JasonS
2011-05-09 12:02:17 Just went there this past week....LOVED it! (American) Mexican food is very regional and this was very similar to the very yummy Mex food I used to get when I lived in Ohio. Its not like a Salena's or El Rincon. My husband looked up reviews and found that it had a lot of good reviews, our experience was consistent with the reviews. —mhare
2011-07-07 13:24:47 I don't know much about Mexican food, and my experience with places like Moe's has left me cold. But Los Gallos was delicious! They have a great selection with a bunch of combinations so you can try a bit of everything if you want. I had the enchiladas which were amazing, I was really worried that would be too spicy since I'm very sensitive to spicy food but they were perfect for me, and they have two hot sauces at the table if you need more heat. The rice and beans that came with it were great and the hot tortilla chips were really yummy. I will definately be back! —carolturo

2011-08-11 18:37:48 Does anyone know if the people who run this place are the same who ran Garibaldi, which was right down the street across from Best Buy (now a Walgreens or Rite Aid or something)? The menu and the food look very similar. My wife and I loved Garibaldi! —foxual
