Macedon is a town in Wayne County, NY to the east of Rochester and containing the Village of Macedon and parts of the "master planned community" of Gananda, which also lies within Walworth. Macedon has one elementary school which is part of the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District as well as students attending the Gananda Central School District.
Route 31 runs west to east from Monroe County through the town and village of Macedon and on to the Village of Palmyra. Route 350 runs north to south through Macedon connecting Ontario Center and Walworth to the north and intersecting Route 31 in the Village of Macedon.
