Made By Rachel is a sewing business run by local designer and University of Rochester graduate student Rachel Chaffee. She started out making handbags but moved onto an entire clothing line in 2007. She cites "things that have had other 'lives' before I found them," especially vintage buttons, as her primary inspiration. She tries to use recycled material as much as possible.
