Makyo Star is a local band that plays alternative pop/punk rock music. All six of the band's members hail from Churchville. They have played at the former Water Street Music Hall.
History
The band formed in the winter of 2005, and the band's name comes from the name of a planet on the manga television series Dragonball Z.
In 2008, Mike Panek replaced Paul Rankin on guitar.
