Marshall Street Bar and Grill is a full bar and grill in Wadsworth Square, right off Monroe Avenue. The menu features standards like wings, burgers, and quesadillas alongside some non-standards like homemade sloppy joes, fried pickle slices, and portobello fries, as well as many vegetarian options. Marshall Street also has pool, darts, Family Guy pinball, an Internet jukebox and a Mrs. Pacman/Galaga machine. Contact the bar for private parties or events.
They had a soft opening in the old Damian's location on September 16th 2010. Grand opening was October 1, 2010.

2011-09-06 20:29:15 Somewhat off the radar at the foot of Monroe Ave, Marshall Street is a standout among Rochester's neighborhood bars. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. The vibe is laid back, good for catching up with friends or watching a sporting event. There is a good, rotating selection of microbrews along with standard local and national beers, and the prices are reasonable. The food is excellent, focused on inventive spin-offs from mainstream bar fare, and it is surprisingly vegetarian friendly. In particular, I recommend trying the portabella fries and the Irish nachos (made with waffle fries or tater tots). —JohnBrach
2012-01-23 09:26:16 I like this place. It's got a nice atmosphere - certainly not a dive bar, but also not super nice or anything. Food is super cheap. The wings are OK, but for the price, I'm not complaining. —DE
2012-07-04 22:41:31 Bar is nice. What it is is what it is. Bouncer has a God complex though. Thinks he is the end all be all. If you want reasonable or fair you're better off going to any other bar on Monroe. Absolute last choice here. —stellabear
2012-12-16 17:17:07 A brilliant afternoon: Have lunch at Marshall Street and then walk to the nearby Abundance Cooperative Market and do all your granola shopping. The Marshall Street has an excellent burger—a modest, two-pattied approach—and the price is about what you'd be paying around the corner at Arby's. A nice joint overall, clean, spacious, nice people on waitstaff, and good for football on Sundays. —AaronBPryor
2013-03-11 10:27:48 my husband and i went to the marshall st. bar and grill on my birthday a few days ago. we had purchased a voucher from amazon local, and my birthday was the very last day to use it, so we hurried over, and liked it so well that we will be returning. our food was good, and we found out that they have 'the walking dead' sundays when they air the program for the guests, so we are looking forward to going back! —jeanettejeanette

2013-11-01 23:43:51 I went here on Halloween. The decorations were excellent and very creepy but I wasn't impressed with the rest of the place. The table where we sat was sticky and the bar looked like it needed to be wiped off. —EileenF
2015-05-26 18:22:33 so, a hormonal emergency required that we visit marshall street this afternoon. i had some initial problems, but don, a co-owner, came to our table to address the issues, and all was well. try don's jalapeno-infused vodka. yummy. we are inspired to do our own infusions. —jeanettejeanette
