McArdle's is an Irish pub and grille located in Fairport. They feature a Custom BrewCrafters Irish Ale, and all beers are available in a 12 oz. or 25 oz. frosty mug! Food is standard pub fare (burgers and sandwiches around $8 in 2007), and there is also a more expensive dinner menu featuring pasta, fish, and meet entrees. Thursday night is Steak Night.

2007-04-06 11:18:07   Went here last night and had to wait more than 30 minutes to sit. Steak night is busy! I got chicken fingers, and they were tasty. My favorite thing about McArdle's is the extra-tall wooden booths. They look really nice, AND you don't have to see or hear anyone around you. —RachelBlumenthal

2009-07-11 03:00:00   McArdle's is hand's down my favorite place to eat in Fairport. I've gone there several times over the last few years with my family, and have enjoyed every dish I ordered there. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. I heard that they recently changed owners, though, so I can't guarantee the accuracy of this comment in the future. —StephanieCollins

2011-08-10 05:54:00   Husband ordered the Cajun burger and said it was well cooked and seasoned nicely with a good kick to it. I ordered the pecan and mustard encrusted chicken salad and was extremely disappointed. Chicken was soggy (how does a pecan encrusted piece of chicken end up soggy? It should be very crunchy due to the nuts) and the "crisp salad greens" consisted of iceberg lettuce... lame considering the salad cost $8.95. Service was sub-par, to be nice. It took our waitress about 15 minutes to even show up at our table to take our drink orders, we had to ask multiple times for refills, and she forgot to bring a side salad for one of the people in our party. Our meals came out separately and I had to wait about 5 minutes after everyone else had gotten their food before my salad arrived. If the place was crazily packed I would give our waitress a pass, but it wasn't that busy. The only reason I would give this place a second try is because my husband thought the burger was really good... but to be honest, there are probably better burgers with better service elsewhere. —Acarp
