The Mt. Hope Lofts are the apartments at College Town in Upper Mount Hope, near the University of Rochester Medical Center. Units range from studios to two bed/two bath. Amenities include on-site management, a fitness center, underground parking, and bike/scooter storage.
(Despite the name, these are not actual lofts.)

2015-04-28 22:23:04 I toured a two-bedroom, two-bath unit during the College Town grand opening. The rents they charge (the cheapest is $1,105) are VERY high-end for the Rochester city market yet the actual space was rather underwhelming. Just a bland box with wall-to-wall carpeting, although the kitchen was nice (I liked the backsplash). I was surprised by how much storage it had, though - both bedrooms had walk-in closets! Basically, you're paying for walking distance to the Medical Center. I've heard parking there is a nightmare. But if you want a space with character and can afford these rents, I recommend looking at the real lofts downtown. —EileenF
