Nazareth College is a coeducational, religiously independent college in the Rochester suburb of Pittsford offering degrees in education, health and human services, management, the fine arts, music, theater, math and science, foreign languages, and the liberal arts.
It was founded in 1924 in Rochester by the Sisters of St. Joseph (SSJ) as an all-women's school. It went co-ed in 1973, about two years after the SSJ surrendered operational control of the school.
