2007-12-27 16:02:56   Stopped in for happy hour awhile back. Bartenders were friendly and low-key and there were good food specials. —JasonHaremza

2007-12-28 09:57:56   I don't know if they still do it, but O'Callaghans used to have 1/2 price food (except stuff out of the smoker) before 7PM on most weekdays. Used to get great sandwiches for under 3$. —DarrenKemp

2008-01-21 15:13:20   I had the "T-Rex" sandwich there yesterday, it was awesome. It could have used a bit more cheese, but was still a great meal. —BadFish

2008-03-25 16:51:36   Really lame place. Everyone clamors about it, but it's just the "cool" thing to like that really isn't that good at all (kinda like the Dave Matthews Band). It's full of douchebags that are 1/32nd Irish and wear green shirts like they are right off the boat from Dublin. Go kill yourself. —RorisonMeadows

2008-03-26 12:36:10   Perhaps on St. Patrick's Day everyone wears green shirts there, because they do everywhere... I don't go to O'Callaghan's very often, but I've never had any big problem with the place. It's just your average bar, with some annoying drunk people and some okay specials. It wouldn't be my first choice (I'd rather go to Acme), but if my friends are going there, I don't mind going with them. However, the bathrooms are kind of nasty. —SaraChristine

2008-03-27 12:38:59   I will second the fact that O'Cal's is just a decent, regular place. Nothing outstandingly great or terrible about the scene. I like it there. A bunch of my friends are sort of regulars there and they are good people. Have I mentioned how great the T-Rex sandwich is? —BadFish

2008-08-15 15:26:49   This place really is a magnet for fun people of the highest order. Come here if you like to see a wide variety. —AlexD1234

2009-05-20 13:32:53   A run of the mill, typical bar. Outdoor patio is nice when it's warm out. However, as AlexD commented, the crowd does consist of what you'd expect to see at a college frat house—and they made my drink differently the 3 times I ordered it... —Leisel

2010-10-18 21:58:04   Always a Great Time! $2 Shots of Jamo on Fridays! Yaaaooo - plus Sunday Funday is done proper here. Always recommend this pub to my friends —ChuckD420

2011-10-17 11:55:26   Amazing Bar with a great outdoor seating area. I highly recommend the back deck —Users/friendlyneighbor

2012-11-26 20:15:25   They no longer have half price food or five dollar all day menus. Sunday and monday wings are now fifty cents. They have delicious weekly soup specials and now offer house smoked pastrami. They also have a great microbrew selectiom, including locally brewed rogers bulldog and mutt india pale ales. —Turdferguson

2014-01-27 09:57:14   Well, no more 2$ jamo on Friday but 3$ tully all the time. The daily food special is usually something amazing and not what you would expect in a pub but a fine bistro, the NE Chowder is to die for. Wednesday is 2 for 1 on all drafts and well mixed but not red-bulls. Friendly place that welcomes all that respect all. —CarltheCamera

2014-06-20 15:26:19   I went in for lunch today for the first time. The barkeep was prompt and friendly and gave an excellent run-down of the menu. The jukey was of an Alice In Chains / Godsmack millieu; I was the only patron there though a group of regulars / employees were socializing at the end of the bar. This did not prevent the barkeep from being attentive, however, which is good. The wings were cooked nicely and the dressing is real bleu cheese. Nice variety of beers on tap; I had the Rebel IPA. If I visit again, I will try to note accessibility; the place has two doors and I don't think there would be an issue but the main entrance is straight in and then a left, and it's a bit cluttered, so I'm not sure. One might need to use the second entrance. —AaronBPryor

2015-12-03 13:44:21   The hours above suggest open for lunch....can anyone confirm? I've tried calling the 585 271 7190 phone number several times but it just keeps ringing.....I also attempted the email/comment box on their website but it got returned to me as an invalid email address.... —ChrisTrapatsos
