I ordered chicken parmesan the last two times, and I am convinced it is not made to order. The first time I ordered it, where the two pieces of chicken breast overlapped, it was cold!! That tells me they are preparing it ahead of time, and simply reheating it. The menu claims "all homemade", which I feel is a stretch...based on my findings! The last time my clue was the breading..which seemed kind of "meely", like it was prepared in the past, to be reheated in the future. I really want to like this place, but I simply won't be going back. I mean, how difficult can it be for a competent kitchen staff to pound out a chicken breast, cook it in a pan, cover it with fresh sauce and cheese, and pop it in the oven for a few?? I also have noticed lately that the crowd seems to be on the older side, which I guess makes sense given the quality they seem to have slipped to. I hate to do this, but I just wanted people to know about my experiences...perhaps someone else has had similar, or maybe I can save someone else from experiencing what I have. I made a reservation earlier in the day which is recommended considering how busy they get. We were seated right away by Mama Tomotto. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the pork chop special, the others picked lasagna, buffalo chicken pasta and the parm duo (veal and chicken). My pork chop was pan seared and served with roasted veggies, figs and a balsamic drizzle. It was heaven! The buffalo chicken pasta was also delish (I stole a few bites and wanted more!). The lasagna and the chicken also got good reviews. The only complaint was that the veal was a little dry. For dessert we got the trifecta of the fried twinkies: vanilla, chocolate and the special of the day which was cookie dough. The clear winners were the vanilla and the chocolate. Everyone agreed that the cook dough was disappointing. Throughout the course of the meal Mama T checked on us several times which was nice. Overall, I love this place! My mother lives out in Spencerport and stated that she would drive all the way out in Victor to eat here! A+ --["Users/dmarie"]

It has a nice subtle sweetness and gives the impression that they are using San Marzano tomatoes. They start with bread and a garlic butter spread. It was tasty, but we had enough sense to save a few slices for leftover sauce. We started with French Onion soup and were not that impressed (it was kind of boring and I wouldn't get it again). I got the lasagna and my fiancee got the Greens and Beans and Gnocchi. The gnocchi was good, swimming in the greens & beans & sauce flavored with a nice amount of garlic. The serving portion was enormous and we definitely had leftovers for home. The lasagna was very good and was also a VERY generous portion; I was able to share. The lasagna was drenched in their wonderful sauce and we enjoyed sopping up the remaining pool with the bread. To end the meal, we tried the Trifecta of Fried Twinkies - 3 deep fried small loaves of Italian bread, tossed in cinnamon and sugar, filled with one of their fillings (classic/vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate). They were fantastic, and a perfect end to a very good meal. We are looking forward to our next visit - I think we will try their Stuffed Pork Chop and Chicken Under a Brick.
