Pachamama Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm that uses one acre (as of February 2014) on a 14-acre plot beside a drumlin in Farmington. Over 50 varieties of vegetables and herbs are grown for distribution to local chefs and CSA members. Most of the work is done on a very small scale, by hand, ensuring that each crop is planted, tended, and harvested with minimal impact on the soil. In addition, Pachamama Farm does not use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals.
