Project Scion is a collaboration between landscapers Zaretsky & Associates and Waterford Tilling. Each year, the team transforms a vacant lot in a distressed Rochester neighborhood into a green space for public use. The parks are subsequently maintained by the community.
Their first success story was The Orchard in the JOSANA Neighborhood, completed in July 2012. Their project for 2013 is The Gateway in Edgerton.
