-05-30 21:16:36   Rick has quite a bit of books and a growing collection of DVDs. While the DVDs are the most competitively priced the books are- in fact it's possible to walk out with 2 bags/boxes of books for under 40$. Ricks' very accommodating and if you call to say you're on your way he's been known to wait up. There's a new store that's just opened and he can courier books back and forth between the two- I picked up an entire series (12 books) in this manner with no effort on my part ('cept cracking the wallet). Definitely high upon my list I stop there once a month at least. Give him a wish list and he'll also do a great job in trying to fill it. You should note tho that if you collect SciFi or Fantasy that winter in Rochester is hard on book collectors- they don't let them go- so get your bargains in the summer. —Purduephotog

-02-13 11:57:21   I was impressed by the quality and variety of items in stock, many in excellent, near-new condition. Prices are quite reasonable. The aisles are rather crowded, and if dust bothers you you may have a problem. Note that the posted opening time of 7AM only applies when the owner is on the premises — the official opening time seems to be 10AM. —RWWTaylor

-05-31 20:41:22   I live above Rick's Recycled Books for years. Rick knows his stuff about his books and what is in the store. Always willing to help, I strongly recommend the store. —MichaelWolfe

-02-04 21:34:02   Disclaimer:that picture must've been taken when the place was new, 'cause I've NEVER seen a single shelf as organized as that one is! In fact, I **might** call the place a 5h!thOl3, if it weren't a really good place to find good used books cheap. If you are looking for anything in particular, you must ask Rick, because you won't find it in that mess on your own. But, you might find something even more interesting. It's like the House of Guitars, except it's books. and Rick isn't nearly as crazy as Armand is, either. —alex-c

-02-04 21:42:17   Uh, I took that picture just last year. And I've always been able to find what I was looking for, so I don't know what your difficulty was. —EileenF
