The Rochester Regional Joint Board is a local umbrella labor union/organization with offices in a fairly modern building in the East Avenue Historic District.

The Rochester Regional Joint Board is an affiliate of many other unions, notably, Worker's United and SEIU. Formed in the 1980s as UNITE HERE, the Rochester Regional Joint Board has gone on to create the Sidney Hillman Health Center, bringing free medical exams, low-cost prescriptions, and free eye exams and glasses to thousands of people.

With branches in Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse, the Rochester Regional Joint Board represents workers from virtually every cultural, ethnic, racial and religious background — workers who came to the area from more than 50 countries. Its members work in commercial laundries, large food service operations, restaurants, call centers, racinos, hotels and industrial factories.
