Rochester SeniorNet Learning Center (now knows as Rochester New York TechAge) is a nonprofit program offered through the Jewish Community Center that provides computer classes for adults 50 years-of-age or older. Small classes (Maximum 10 students) and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere make SeniorNet an ideal place for learning to use computers and picking up new skills. Classes range from "Introduction to Computers" and "Internet and E-Mail" to "Digital Photography". All classes are taught by adults for adults. There is no membership fee and SeniorNet offers free "Open Labs" where adults can surf the Internet, read e-mail or just practice their computer skills. Call for "Open Lab" dates and times, course schedules and fees, or to register for classes. New volunteers are welcome.
