Rochester for Obama is a political organization, located in Rochester. Ken Preston is heading up Rochester for Obama. There are three main goals in 2012: grow the local base of support for the President, register more local voters, and recruit volunteers to campaign not just in New York, but also in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

2008-11-05 11:09:22   My congratulations on a well-run campaign. Last night was "Raymond" night for me. Sixty years ago my family (five children) moved to the city of New Bedford, MA and we had an extraordinarily sparse Christmas - almost nothing store-bought that year. My new friend, Raymond, took one of the double cowboy pistols from the holster set he got for Christmas, wrapped it and gave it to me. That token of giving by a young black boy to his new white friend was an inspiration for me and for my hope to end the racial divides. Last night was one for "Raymond" and I will never be able to thank him enough for what he gave me that Christmas. —BradMandell
