Rookies Neighborhood Sports Bar was a sports bar in Gates. They had opened a 2nd location in Pittsford in the summer of 2010, but that closed in 2012. Closed 2018.

2010-12-27 01:41:53 Went to the Pittsford location a few weeks ago for the 4 o'clock football games. Had a great chicken wing/beer deal. Wings were very good. A lot of projection screens and a fun atmosphere. —DE

2011-04-29 09:57:40 THIS IS FOR THE PITTSFORD LOCATION ONLY. Absolutely horrible. We had 11 guys watching the Sabres game on 4/26/11. At the end of the night we wanted to use a lousy $25 off coupon, and they wouldn't take it. The worst part is we paid cash, and they still charged my credit card too. I had to take it up with my credit card company to dispute the charges. I will never go back, and strongly encourage the rest of you to stay away from this place. They should call it Crookies. 2011-11-21 20:06:20 FOR PITTSFORD LOCATION - I used to love it here. New ownership changed everything. They raised prices, changed beer selection, and the service became awful. During my last visit, we waited over thirty minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. I then attempted to use a gift card purchased on restaurant.com. The waitress confirmed that they still accepted the gift card despite the change in ownership. Later, a manager came out and very aggressively told us we could not use the gift card. She was extremely rude and would not listen to reason. She insulted our entire party before we left. I'm okay with not being able to use the gift card, but the attitude and approach of the new management has left me determined to never return. Go anywhere else if you want to enjoy your night. You are guaranteed a terrible time if you ever go here. —Josh7
