Just before the ["Erie Canal"], are ["Fairport Village Landing"] and ["Packetts Landing"] (more strip malls). Crossing the canal, the road becomes North Main Street (mind the railroad tracks). This segment is largely commercial.<br> + <br> + Crossing Whitney Road, we change names, becoming Fairport-Nine Mile Point Road, home to ["Eagle Vale Golf Course"] - and more subdivisions. Quickly, however, we enter ["Penfield"] and intersect with ["Route 441"]. Grab a bite to eat at ["Wegmans"], pop your head into ["Birds Unlimited"], and take a quick side trip to ["Harris Whalen Park"].<br> + <br> + At Penbrooke Drive, the commercial festivities end and we once again see a mix of trees and houses, intermingled with the occasional farm or industrial complex. Near ["Route 286"], it's pretty much just farms.<br> + <br> + Between Bainbridge Lane and State Road, we change names, becoming Webster Road, appropriately named, as we soon enter ["Webster"], where Route 250 goes by the name of South Avenue. You'll pass by water towers, the back entrance to a school, and then enter another commercial district near ["Route 404"]. Now, of course, we are on North Avenue, where we could turn on to a ramp for ["Route 104"].<br> + <br> + Having continued farther north, the road becomes Webster Road once more and the view largely consists of houses, subdivisions and trees once more as well.<br> + <br> + Finally, we come to the northern terminus of Route 250, Lake Road, less than a thousand feet from ["Lake Ontario"].
