Saxbys Coffee is a coffee shop chain based in Philadelphia. They had a Rochester location in the city's College Town, attached to the University of Rochester Official Bookstore (accessible from both the street and inside the bookstore). Other food and drink includeed pastries, smoothies, frozen yogurt, and their unique Frolattes®. They sold their own line of coffee Two Leaves tea. Their bagels were from Balsam.

Saxbys was founded in 2005. Their local spot opened April 6, 2015 and had outdoor seating. They closed May 22, 2016.

2015-04-07 07:15:36   It's a Starbucks, basically. Their coffee is much better, however - not burned and bitter like Starbucks is. The service was very good. —EileenF
