Smashburger is a national chain fast casual restaurant. They had locations in the Rochester area. They specialized in smashing the ground beef while flame broiling. Opening on March 9, 2016 in Cobblestone Court, Victor and closed in 2020. 2nd location opened in December 15, 2016 at Market Commons.

2016-06-23 09:35:33 The chicken patty was the best I've ever had from fast food restaurant, yes even better than KFC and Arby's pull off. The food tastes good but the burgers are messy because of the sauce, same can be said for the chicken patty sandwiches. —travisowens
2019-11-02 21:54:24 If I'm in the market for a tasty, thicker, chain-style burger that doesn't use prison-grade beef, I like Five Guys better. Smashburger was still pretty good, though. It's not a bad choice. —batguano
