Soma Massage was owned and operated by LPN and licensed massage therapist (LMT) Denise Elliot and provided massage therapy. The company name, Soma means body in Greek.
Soma offered custom the massage to the individual, soft sheets, a comfortable and softly heated massage table, adjustable head rest and arm rest, warm towels, and luxurious oils.
Located in the historic Strong-Todd House next to the Rochester Museum and Science Center, Soma offered simple surroundings, a quiet, calm, relaxing atmosphere, and focus on the customer. Situated off of East Avenue at Oxford Street in the Park Avenue/NOTA neighborhood, there is plenty of off street parking and a secure entrance to the building.
