St. Josaphat Ukrainian Church is a church in Irondequoit that stands out as you travel down Ridge Road because of its striking domes.
"St. Josaphat church is capped with five DOMES. Round domes and arches symbolize eternity and perfection. Our domes represent Jesus and the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each dome is crowned by a Cross, the emblem of victory." 1
The church is host to an annual, August Ukrainian Festival featuring food, dancing and dress from traditional Ukrainian culture.
