I witnessed numerous employees interacting with children with only inches between their faces for sustained periods of time with their mask pulled down intentionally. + + There are a lot of people who are way too hysterical about the dangers posed by coronavirus, but the way the owners and employees here behaved was extremely reckless and basically designed to ensure transmission of disease. Someone's grandmother undoubtedly died because of their lack of care for their customers. Somebody else's father was surely left with lifelong chronic pain because of them. + + As if all that wasn't enough, they used their farm, during business hours, for a political rally. This is a farm for children, and they knowingly invited political organizers and participants that had extremely inappropriate words and phrases plastered on their vehicles, clothing, and signage. My children were also forced to hear these things being said by the participants. In the short time we quickly walked to our car, they were subjected to speech that was openly racist, derogatory toward women, and generally just mean-spirited and adult-oriented. + + It pains me to say that I intend to never return to this farm again. Luckily, there are a LOT of really good alternatives in the area where you can do literally everything you would want to do here. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. If you go to look them up on Facebook and you can't find them, they were trying to delete every mention of what had happened, got overwhelmed by the negative reaction of their patrons that they decided to just delete their Facebook page to avoid the natural consequences of their poor decision-making and atrocious behavior. --["Users/FlowerCityVending"]

We got lunch -- my wife had a cheeseburger and I had a pulled pork sandwich which were both quite tasty. We then got some free coffee and hot chocolate and homemade apple donuts. It was a lot of fun to pick out our tree and cut it down. They provide a ride out to the field where the trees grow, and they also provide a hacksaw to cut the tree down and a cart to wheel the tree over to the tractor that takes the tree back up near the parking lot. + + They've also got a store filled with Christmas decorations -- mostly handmade stuff -- and 'country' food and crafts. We bought a couple of ornaments and a tree stand to go with our tree. + + Overall, we had a wonderful time and we are definitely going to make this an annual tradition.
